Started with a Honda now I'm here! ....asking questions
Hello everyone, the day has come, to when I was a kid watching 2 fast 2 furious and Tokyo drift telling myself I will own an evo 8 one day, and now I have. Little bits and pieces of the car.
Pretty much stock, the way I got it, it's got minor bolt ons, AMS small battery, short route piping, some gauges, and an exhaust. I never knew about the stopping bolt for a twin disk and blew the throw out bearing, along with the clutch apart. So I got some other minor problems taken care of.
Now to the reason behind this post, I'm getting some squeaky noise in the front, sounds like a ball joint of some sort, maybe even bushings, but I've put this car on a lift, got under her skirt, and everything looks tight, and nothing looks to be bad. Sharp turning at speeds over 30+ can't hear anything, drive through my neighborhood, and I'm getting sounds of clunks, and squeaks.
I can't for the life of me figure this **** out. Has anyone else figured this out? Any help would be super greatly appreciated as I'm stumped and tired of turning up the radio to stop hearing this noise, I'd rather listen to the car.

Welcome to the forum, There are many things that could squeek or clunk. When specifically does your car make noise? Driving over bumps, sitting still while turning the wheel, pushing down on the front fenders?
Barely turning, driving over bumps slowly, never fast, everything seems to happen when driving into the slower mph, 25 and under, barely turning the car sounds like it's creaking. I never thought about pushing down on the fender, I just went outside and did that, it sounds like that's what the noise is.
I've own several cars and all of them have a had shock/strut failure or the bearing that goods with that assembly has failed. The sound is familiar to me. I can't hear your sounds so I'm just telling you what to look into. Search the forum for a shock failure. There might be a thread on it all ready.
Search, work, search, work and you'll get to be knowledgeable about your car. If you find a good thread that helps you, post it here?
