Names Michael, long time BMW owner looking to purchase my first Evo.
Looked around on a few forums and found this was the most complete and informative that I could find.

Excited to learn as much as I can before my first purchase.
(Seems like since the news that they will no longer be made prices have sky rocketed so I figure now is the time)

When you get a chance, test drive an Evo if you have not. The torque is fun but the handling is the Evo's pedigree! Have fun searching for you car!

The jury is still out on that to be honest.. I have been doing a lot of looking and to find a VIII/IX with less than 90k for less than 20k is pretty rare. I have friends who own and have owned them so I have driven those models a good amount. Just recently I have been looking at the X.. More so because I think I will have a better shot getting more for my money.

As far as what it will be used for..

Mostly a short commute to work and back.. Few goodies to up the power.. TBE/INTAKE/reflash/data logger ect..
