I need exaust advice

I wanna change the exaust on my car now that I have an intake, anyone have any advice on what I should get? I'm looking for something with good gains and preferably carb legal, something that the cops wont pull me over for.

Our is pretty quiet, deep sounding. Not going to attract the PIGS!

To add to that question, I am wondering on changing my original intake, and adding an aftermarket one. I want to have good performance gains, especially in the hp and torque, but I also dont want my car to sound too loud. What would be the best advice?

Intake, but not exhaust. You'll never have really good gains without going past bolt-ons, but changing the exhaust will almost definitely make your car a lot louder. How loud is too loud?

I can say that I purchased the Buschur Racing catback exhaust system and I am extremely pleased with it. Easy to install, sounds great, well worth the money to me. I was cautious about buying an exhaust because I was afraid it was going to be to quiet but this one is nice and loud I was following my mom to a computer store to help her buy one, I was two cars behind her vehicle and she said she could hear me the hole time.

Buschur catback exhaust =

There is a entire thread about it to...

Any site where I can find the buschur racing catback at? I've been thinking about that one or the RRM one. I'm trying to find out some prices, called my dealer about a RMR one and they wanna charge me $447.

Call 'em up. That's how they do business, just like RRM. www.buschurracing.com

What's up JTShadow, just a helpful hint bro: When it comes to exhausts, don't go for size! (Believe me, I have experienced this problem.) Think of it this way, when you open your mouth an inch wide, and blow on a paper, it pushes back right? But, when you extend your mouth about about 3 inches and then on a piece of paper, the paper doesn't push back as much! That's the same way exhausts work, so if you want something that will boost up performance, then get a bomb series or whatever good, racing series exhaust is available for your car, and you could always get a silencer cap...that way your exhaust won't be much of an attention seeker w/ the cops, but will give you a hp boost, as well as performance boost!

Nat4spar, as for getting an aftermarket intake, go for it bro! Most of the time, aftermarket intakes give you much better air flow than the factory ones! As for the loud deal, your car won't sound too loud if your exhaust is not too big. personally, people who get dual exhaust mostly do it for the looks, or attention! When it comes to performance, a huge exhaust, or dual exhaust pushes performance down, unless you have a car that can handle the large ammount of air flow these exhausts push out!
