Hi guys new to this so last year I began my Lancer GTS to EvoX AWD convertion it is almost done a few more mods and hard work happy to say it's been tough please don't ask why I own a EvoX and thought it would be fun to make a EvoX GTS hatch I will be posting pics soon trust me I've been working on cars a long time this has been the hardest and most expensive.

So far 10k in it by the time it's on the road more like 13k I have pretty much gutted the GTS to its bear bones and installed entire evo harness from headlight to tail light the tog hardest part was cutting out spare tire location and re-en forcing back half for rear diff

I'm curious, I know the regular lancer does not have the widebody and wider track that the evo does. Are you going to modify the body of this GS to be wider as an X is ?

Just going to finish the GTS I will be posting pics and upload the finish product and as for the wider body it's pretty close on width as the EvoX so for now I will not be modifying it maybe later in the future.

Awesome project! I've been doing something similar converting many things over to Evo X stuff, but haven't tackled the AWD yet. Might go a different route there, however I respect and appreciate your effort here. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Somewhat off-topic but somewhat on-topic... how about doing this to a second-gen Eclipse and putting the CT9A Evo drivetrain into one, including whichever suspension bits would fit (if they could)?
