This is probably a pretty stupid question but besides price and name brand is there a big difference in sound between the big name exhuasts like GREDDY and SKUNK as compared to smaller brands.

 

Who cares about sound? (well ok, about half of you guys do) what I want to know is what's the performance difference?

 

actually i'd like to know both. what's the difference in sound, hp increase and anything else you can think of

 

In my own opinion, the only aspect of sound that matters is I hope it doesn't sound like a total rice burner...

 

I got that muffler off ebay the bomb 4 one that gets advertised all the time, emailed the seller and he said it's a real low pitch, I just didn't want the fart can sound, but got it installed and realized it was the best 50 bucks I had spent on my car yet. Did jack for performance but has such a low pictch, sounds awesome.

 

Yeah, I agree.... I definetly don't want the fart can sound...
