neon Washer nozzle question

I bought a pair of these neon washer nozzle neons, and when i got them there's three wires coming out of them, white red and black. I understand what does what, but I'm not sure how to wire it. I have a switch and that's where I'm going to connect the power(red) wire, the black to a ground, but what should i do with the white wire. I had a pair of these on my other car and they only had red and black wires. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm just not sure what to do. Thanks for you help

Shouldn't one go to the battery? I don't know much about wiring and might have misunderstood, but I didn't see that in your post.

well there's two cable coming from the toggle switch. One is connected to the battery(power), and the other is connected to the red wire from the neons. this way when the switch is in the "off" position there's no power going to the neons, and visa versa with the "on" position of the switch. I'm guessing the white is like...a remote turn on or something. I just don't know what to wire that to. Thanks for you input man, glad to see somone cares

You dont need to use the white wire at all. I own a pair and i just taped up the white wire. I wired em like this.
The black wire went to a common neutral with my other neons to the chasis in the engine bay. The red went to the acc plug of the switch. Then a power cable from the battery to the power plug of the switch. My switch is an illuminating switch so it also has its own earth, but thats not important. This way i can turn them on when the car isnt on.

If you want them wired up so they turn of when the car is, but also been able to be switched when the car is on, this is where the white wire comes in, splice it into the "+" wire of the cigarette lighter or some other wire that is switched with the ignition.

I hope this helps. If you want more details or a wiring diagram just let me know

I do understand that they look ricey and are kind of gay. But since I have other neons on my car they blend in nicely and don't look bad. I think they're bad when you have just them, nothing else on your car.

i have two 10" blue rods, one under each side of the dash, two 15" rods that run along the bottom of the rear seat, I'm going to put a rod or two in the trunk once i get my system together, and i have an underbody kit but i didn't put it yet.

**** it. Just put them neons on. If you like it, that's all that matters.

i agree....back to the wiring question. Let me explain what it looks like. There's a red and black wire coming off the neons, wich lead to a little box then there is a red, black and white wire coming off the little box. Should i connect the two wires coming off the neon and just ditch the box? I'm not sure if the box is the transformer or just a switch relay? Any input helps, thanks

KEEP THE BOX!!!!!!!
The little box is a step down transformer. The LED's in the jets are only 9V. If you take out the box you'll blow the lights. I made that mistake the first time i got em. You might want to tape up the box cause the wires are only in there with a weak solder. Just so you dont acidently pull the wires out when connecting them.

ok, thanks, i figured it was something like that. So where should i connect the white wire then? Because i tried it with it not connected to anything and they didn't work. Should i just connect them to the a power source, or just combine them with the red wire coming off of the little box thing?
