New to forums /help buying Evo

Hey what’s up guys , so I been looking into buying an Evo 8/9 been doing my research a bit and I know I have to compression test/ leak test & check for rust are the main things I been seeing . Is there anything else I should look for? If I provide links to the cars I been seeing would you guys help me out a bit , thanks in advance!

Hello &d welcome @Dirtyjay17

Yeah, for sure send us the link so we can review. Sometimes we can spot the obvious. But sounds like youre on the right track doing a compression,leak down, rust check

Dont have access to FB, at the moment, but the one posted here on EvOM looks pretty good. Miles are not that high & its a Calif car which means no rust unless it was bought out of state

Also, when you drive the car, other then the normal things you look and listen for, with any used car, make sure there is no Evo-specific, strange noises such as transfer case wine, etc.

Thanks for tips bro I can use all the help that I can get before actually putting the trigger on one of them that’s why I been doing a lot of research & get more knowledge about it but those are mainly the things you look into right ? Also if you don’t mind what seems to be the better deal from the cars I posted , thanks in advance!
