Other than considering the Evo MR (my hubby wants one) when it gets here, I too would not buy another

All of the cars I have previously owned (not counting my husband's vehicles) have been Honda and I have nothing but praise for them. The entire car buying/owning experience with them was top notch. When I found out that the Evo was coming state side, I was really torn as to what to do. I seriously wanted a car with more power, and knew all about what the Evo is capable of, as that is the only thing I couldn't stand about my Accord. Then, I test drove the Evo...... that was all she wrote!

I haven't had to deal with Mitsubishi much yet other than the car buying process, but taking that into consideration and all that I've heard/read regarding warranty issues I must say I do not want to take that route again, besides that fact that none of their other vehicles do anything for me!

My car buying experience with them sucked! They tried to pull a lot of dealer scams on me. Thank God I did my research and knew all of the tricks they were going to try and pull. The information I had obtained also pointed out that Mitsubishi is the worst and is most likely to pull these scams. I'm not saying other car dealers would not try the same thing, but I never experienced any of this when purchasing my Hondas. Why would the dealer need me to fill out a credit form and run it on me when I had a blank check from my bank in my hand already? Why was the cost for the title on the final paperwork now mysteriously more money than what it was supposed to be? Why was my trade in not paid off by the time they said it was going to be and I almost had to make a payment on it so it wouldn't go late? A friend of mine from work did business with the same dealer a few weeks later and they tried a few of the same things on them, as well as told them they had financing all set up, then called them a week after having the car in their possession and said they would not be able to finance them at the original rate, but could now do it at a higher APR. If they didn't want to do that, they would have to turn the car back in and pay Mitsu a "user's fee" for having the vehicle for a week! Can you say rip off??!! There are a few other things, but I've already ranted and raved too much.

I still love my Evo (other than some of the interior, but that's not why I bought it) and don't regret buying it one bit but other than the Evo MR, there are no other in my future!
