My name is Kurt and I've had this 2002 Lancer VRX (OZ Rally equivalent down here) for nearly 6 months now. My end goal is to have the same visual style as the Modern Image SEMA Lancer from 2001 and Kontradiction's build from around 2002, pics below!
So far I've deviated from this by adding my own touches, such as Ralliart Cedia headlights and a Ralliart Cedia grille. I'll post my car below!
I still need to track down a Kenstyle bodykit (which I know is discontinued) and a Rhys Millen Racing/RMR rear wing which is also discontinued. If anyone has any leads on either of these let me know! I'm down in Australia so I'm keen to pay absurd amounts of freight to get a hold of this stuff.
Welcome. I see "throw back" builds are becoming kinda popular. I, for one, am a huge fan. I'm hoping, with the guys on YouTube building new F&F cars, that some of it catches on and spreads. I wouldn't mind seeing a proper '90s/'00s build, complete with underglow.
Agreed, there's something about the 90-00s cars that have some sort of magic to them. Truly the last of the analog cars. Love seeing more people do these era show cars

Ha, for me the style never died! I grew up in this era so this is just how tuning/customizing feels like it should be! Since it was over by the time i grew up and had enough money to build with, i figured I'd stick with my roots and build something out of NFSU or F&F.
Also, underglow is a given, and it'll be gas tubes too, just to be period correct!
