Stepping in Evo world now

Well after 20+ years of solely have a dsm, I finally decided to get an evo. After over a year of searching I finally found exactly what I had been looking for. Just got a T70 Electric Blue VIII GSR. Super pumped about learning new things and figuring out just how different the Evo is from my 1997 GSX build. First thing will be to find the body and electrical diagrams for the car and start from there. Car is def a project car and will take a lot of work, but excited about it. Thanks guys and also look forward to meeting more people in the Mitsubishi community.

So is it like a copyright issue or something else that keeps the manuals from being posted on the site directly? Just curious since the only experience I have with forums has all been on the dsm side where the manuals are easily accessed in a manuals tab. I found a site with all the manuals and can post here, but I don't want to violate any rules or laws!

Honestly, I have not even went back over to the storage garage since it was delivered! I am trying to focus solely on my current 97 GSX build in hopes of bringing it to dsmshootout this year. I am doing a lot of reading and research on the evo though. First step was finding all the fsms for it. Got those so I will have things ready once I dig into the evo.

Nice looking ride, brother. I'm also dipping my foot into the Evo pool... Bought a wrecked Evo 7 GT-A and rebuilding it. Might end up blowing my budget but still hoping I can sell for a bit of profit in the end.

Be ready to spend a pile, alot more that buying a full evo straight up. These cars parts are not cheap.

I've gotten everything I need except the hood and fender for under $1000. The car cost me $3500.

Condition of everything? There are plenty of freinkestiens out there for cheap of course.

It was all used but in working condition from Yahoo Auctions. I live in Japan so shipping is not expensive. Getting close to being able to drive her, just gotta straighten the radiator support and drop the radiator in. Not going to be an easy task to get that support straight, though. She heavy duty.

PICS!
Actually, pretty sure you just need to go ahead and do a build thread because we are all very curious about what you got.
