Talking Testing the Waters

Hi, this is Travis, with Deyeme Racing. Yes, we're a company. No, we don't make parts for the Lancer. But that's what this post is about. I'd like people to check out our website (www.deyemeracing.com) and see some of the stuff we make for the Neons, Stratus Coupe, and other cars. We're considering purchasing a Lancer next spring, but before we do, I wanted to test the waters, so to speak, and see if there would be an aftermarket for them, for the products we carry. Solid polyurethane engine mounts, aluminum radiator brackets, etc. Anyway, if there's a demand for aftermarket, we'll definately step up to the plate. We like to concentrate on Chryslers and Diamond-Stars (Avenger, Eclipse, etc.). We see the Lancer as a super car with SUPER potential, and we'd like to ride that wave

So drop some advice, let me know what you'd like to see, and what you think of our current product selection. To see moe about what kind of rep we have, check out the Eclipse and Neon forums, and ask around.

Thanks fo' your time, and I look forward to seeing responses on this post.

Later!

I'd definitely be interested in motor mounts and pullies. I'll be passing you link on to my Neon driving friend too if he hasn't seen it already.

EDIT: By the way...good looking out. We appreciate every company who actually takes the time to look into, and possibly add to, our growing aftermarket.

The more folks we have that embrace the Lancer aftermarket crowd, the better. I would be interested in pulleys and mounts, as I'm sure other folks are too.
Just don't wait until Spring to do it!

This would be my list: intake manifold, cam shaft, valve springs, valves and anything else along those lines maybe (a complete head??) Of course the things you mentioned as well. It is good to see company's willing to make parts

OK, I have a prototype rear mount complete, as well as a radiator bracket. I need a volunteer from the audience for the radiator bracket fitment. The idea of our bracket is that it's lighter than stock, has a firmer grommet (to prevent the radiator from rattling around) and hugs the radiator slightly closer to the upper brace to force a little more air thru the radiator that might otherwise slip over it. And look cool too, of course ;-)

Anyway, I just need someone that can put a prototype rad. bkt. on their car, tell me how it measures up, take some pics with a digital cam, and send it back. What you'll get in return is a complete set of the production stage brackets, along with the bolts (anodized alum.), FREE. I just need one volunteer, so first come first serve. you MUST have a digital camera, and you'll need to pay a little back-and-forth shipping while the design is being finalized.

On another note, we should have the prototype front mount complete soon, then we just need to use those originals to make molds. Look for the front and rear mounts to be available by Oct. 1st. End your wheel hop and missed shifts (so typical with FWD) with these babies.

Anyway, s'all for now. If these items do well, we'll pick up the pace on more Lancer stuff, and start supporting this website as well. We're still sort-of getting our feet wet with the Mitsu market.

I'll do it.

Got a camera that'll take very decent quality pics and my weekends are free for installs.

Rather than post 3 times in a row in the future could you just use the EDIT feature and tack it on to an existing post please?
