I did a search on this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43983 but could not find anything. Has anyone had any experience with this?

The seller's inability to write a respectable sentence should be a good indicator here.
It's a fan. It moves air into the intake pipe. The problem is, the air still has to get pulled from the air filter, and vacuum created by the engine does a much better job.
You'll see no increase in performance. If you want to test this before you buy, drive down the street with your hood off, and a friend blowing into the air filter.
Useless, expensive, scam...however you say it, it still equals crap.

I just wanted you to know I choked on my drink while reading this from laughing about the freind blowing remark. That was classic. Do you know where I can go to get a diagram of how a turbo works?

good call bobaab. god i love that site...learned about everything on there...turbos, blowers, rotary engines, etc...good stuff. that site goes over the basics, if you want to know hard core turbo tuning there are other sites...i believe howthingswork.com links to them, but give that a try.

A buddy of mine installed one of these on his little 17HP '92 Geo Storm. When you "flip the switch," the little fan running does sound kinda cool... it aint no BOV though. He says he feels the car pull a little around 3K RPMs, but I havent driven it so I cant say for sure. It probably wont work, but hell, give it a shot if you feel up to it.
Also, the Storm does have more than 17 HP... but not much

Somehwere on these forums is a pic of a "turbo" using a leaf blower
now if only they could find an extension cord 1/4 mile long...
Ok seriously, it's not gonna do much if anything at all. And as said above, I don't buy anything on ebay from people who can't form sentences, spel at least most of their words correctly, or word things in a way that makes applications, usefulness, etc. too vague. They know that a sucker is born every minute, and that people want a deal so bad that they will actually read vague descriptions and make their own meaning of it just to convince themselves that they found a deal. Then when they get mad, they can't blame the seller because he never made that direct claim. Sorry for the novel, but that's my .02

We had a discussion on the local DSM board about this same thing and the same seller. I was interested in proving this guys a fraud. Here is my post from that board.

Maybe Brookdale Mitsu should stock these things.
You guys read his feedback? The worst part is people
are actually praising him for this POS. He makes a
point to say something about the preformance in reply
to every feedback that mentions turbo. Those feedbacks
look kinda coached.
Also check these previous auctions the seller here is
