quick B.R. exhaust question

i've decided to go with the buschur turbo-back.

I have some knowledge and the basic tools, can i install this myself or do i have to take this to a shop to install?

i'm assuming it doesn't have a cat, can the stock one be use or should i not even be concerned with a cat. i live in columbus so no regulation, probably just smell like **** and leave black **** everywhere, am i right?

now i have had problems in the past with not getting all the parts needed and having to order more( especially with my HKS SSQV never heard you need a damn flange to fit then had to order the recirc, what a pain in my ***) is there anything else i need?

thanks
i would search but the new search feature is pissing me off

Columbus Ohio?

You won't be able to use the stock cat. It uses a flange. BR turbo-back pipe fit into eachother, no flange. The kit comes with a test-pipe. The only other thing you might want to look into is adding hangers. I got BR's turbo-back when they first came out. My muffler hanger broke twice, the second time just happened today. And there are no hangers from the testpipe to the muffler. I think they fixed this problem. Apparently I need to fix mine, again.

No sh$t. I'm in Hilliard. How lomg have you had it? I never see any around where I live. I need to get out more.

You'll like BR's turbo-back. It's kinda loud at first but you wont notice adter a while.

Not my store, I just give them props. They installed my cams and cam gears. Tehy specialize in WRX, STi, 300GT and Evo. But Advanced Imports does a whole lot with RX-7's. They are just off of Roberts Rd.

BR's Stage 4 I think is the best kit out there for the price. I had a few fitment issues but nothing that couldn't be resolved. Nothing to deter me from buying more parts from them. I started off with the air-filter then went for it peice by peice. The only problem I am having now is the exhaust hanger and that won't be hard to fix. Just a pain in the a$$.

just had stages 1 & 2 done at BR's site. The 3"Turbo cat back was really loud at first but getting used to it. It does smell like s....... at times ,and I bought (lancershop) the exhast protector shield. It helps with the black carbon build up on the bumper. We are planning on doing Stage 3 & 4 this summer. We have gotten 12.8 ( 1/4 mile) and 4.6 ( 0-60) and a whopping 343whp after our first run on the highway using the G-tech. What times are you running now?
