I have a 03 OZ lancer...now were they not supposed to come with a standard strut bar already?

unfortunately not. only the 2004 ralliart comes with that stock as I believe.

$140 bucks holy crap, see that sucks... i keep looking at that one and i keep seeing the price and i can't afford that right now

 

me and rob (centrylancer) were talking and we both thought that the oz's might have come with it stock so we popped our hoods and no strut bar so i figure i would look dumb and ask...

 

hmm...maybe it was the evo they were talking about that it come stock on! the ralliart wasnt even out i dont think when i was getting my car, hahaha that is sad

 

you dont need the k-bar unless you do autox and stuff.. for just hard cornering and regular driving you can deal with the regular strut bar... search the forums and private/for sale forum... there are usually some people selling them there. I got mine off a member for 60..

i say you make one out of plastic and put neons inside of it.

the answer to your question is yes it is dumb not to have a strut bar.

 

i have the k-bar and it is just as good as the RMR one, but not as bulky and wont pinch your sprayer nozzles.

 

i know but they should just come stock!!! hahahaa..yea i know....i just keep shopping for a good cheap one : ( unless anyone wants to donate one !!! HAHAH k sorry

 

you know...i could have sworn on the mitsu website when i was shopping for a new oz i could swear i saw standard strut bars
