Help me, buying evo tommorow
Ok, i got a kick *** deal from a Mitsu Dealership
03 Rally Red
Aluminum Shift knob
Tint
Big Wing
Sunroof
for 27,000
Now my big question is ... they are telling me that the loyalty rebate is not there anymore.... i really want this rebate because it will help me get the car....
Can anyone verify and if you bought your car within the last 2 weeks can you tell me.... Thankyou

It's probably still valid
I got mine on January 4th 2004. They told me the loyalty offer was no longer offered. Then a couple days later, a lady called me from the dealership asking about my eclipse I traded in. She said she needed some information for the loyalty rebate to go through. Obviously they fooled me out of the rebate then pocketed it. Oh well, at least I have the car I wanted.
That is a really good price. I too have been looking at Evos. I noticed you are in Boca. I hope the red evo you are talking about is not the one at Stuart Mitsubishi. The Red one they have was in a wreck. They are really shady about it too because I have been there a few times to look at it and each time I have talked to someone different. They both told me a different story and only 1 of them volenteered the fact it had been wrecked. The other guy I had to basaclly prove to him I knew it had been wrecked before he would admit it. The first guy told me it jumped a curb on a test drive and the second guy told me someone was moving the car on the back lot and bumped into something. Either way nothing major if they fixed it right but I am sure if you tell them you know it was wrecked you can get the price down even more.

Well, I just purchased mine a couple of weeks ago and at that time there was an owner loyalty rebate. I was not eligible because I've never purchased a Mitsu before. It is now May, however, so the incentive may be gone.
I believe the Loyalty Rebate ended March 31,2004. I would think there should be a 1-800
number at Mitsubishi to call and find out for sure. $27K is a great price since the shift knob and tint alone should be worth $350 I'd think.

Well you can allways call Mitsu direct and find out from the horses mouth. I bought mine from west palm and Mike soloman was my sales man. They were very fair to deal with and found them to be the least dishonest of all mitsu I have had the horrible experience of dealing with. I've bought a lot of cars in my day and mitsu is the worst experience by far!!!
Caveat Emptor 27k is a good price I paid 30.5k out the door for a white one, 8miles, but they threw in gauges, L W front and rear strut tower braces, momo pedals and shift knob, brake cooling guides and a few other little things. so your getting about the same deal if you add in tax tag and fees.
Whaat kind of finnancing are you getting , I made them give me 3.9% for 60mt. dont let them tell you they cant do it because your not in the "elite tier" they can and will buy down your points if you try hard enough.

are you set on a brand new evo? because if you arent, you can find used ones for a great price.i just got mine at huntingbeach mitsu for 25.after they factored in the shipping out here to hawaii it was like 26.5. they ONE used evo in hawaii is going for 33k,brand new they are 36k.i just saw one in houston tx for 24 with 7k miles on it at a dealership and i bet shipping is cheaper from tx to flordia.and if not just fly out and pick it up. good luck.
