If ur a newb, u might want to start with some less of an animal than an evo. It's high maintenance, and it's more car than most people can handle or need.

The regular evo is meant to be a street car, while the RS is stripped out (ac, radio, power windows, locks, and sound deadening are all gone) and is meant for the street.

what are you driving now? Although it may like a lot of fun, i'd buy something else, get your driving skills down pat, and then pick up a used evo. That's just me, and i've been driving hi-performance cars since i was 14

ehhh, thanks for the advice, but i learn fast especially if it's something i really like and is not forced on me. thank u for the info on the differences, but i was wondering if they changed anything mechanically with the engine or trans and suspension.
