Would like some advice...

I have a 2003 OZ rally automatic. I love Lancers and have been playing them since GranTurismo. The thing is, I need some more "mmph" to my baby but I know that since its an auto (my mistake) it would be sort of pointless. Would it be a smart move to somehow trade in my car for the same thing but in a manual transmission? Or is there something I can purchase and have installed that changes my auto into a manual?

Thats the plan. I'm going to look around and see If I can get some deal on getting an even trade for a 2003 manual trans. Either way, my goal is to save up and turbocharge it. I read at some forum there is a turbocharge kit that will bring it up to 200 hp? Thats good and all but where the hell can I take this to get installed?

Autos are always played down just because the 5 speed is more fun and a little bit more power, but the fastest drag cars are autos I'd say keep it and get the turbo. dont get me wrong though I love havin my 5 speed

What kind of turbo kit should I get. This is what I wish to do once I get my turbo kit:
Beat people who drive stock celica's and think they're badass.
Beat people who drive stock eclipses and think they're badass.
Beat people who modified their civics a little and think they're badass.
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Basically I want my car to shut those people up when they see me. It really gets me heated when some chick rolls next to me in her little red celica and tries to provoke me to race her! I don't expect my car to beat mustangs or anything I just want my baby to have some much needed "mmph"!

RRM's turbo kit is the optimal choice? Where can I get these kits installed in my car? Can I just drive my car to some autoplace and ask them to do it or are there places out there that can put that kit in my car??

Also, you guys can't seriously believe I wont be able to find some kind of equal trade in value for my car for the exact same car but only manual. Of course I'm not looking for a new one, mine's got only 20k on it so a manual that's got more or less 20k would be fine. If anything I think it would be easy cause it would be sort of a downgrade since a dealer can sell my car for a higher price (since its automatic) than for a manual.

i also have an auto and keep up to date on what hes doing/done haha

I live close to Dulles Airport on Rt. 28. Since I'm new at all this, would a turbo kit be a good choice for being the first thing to upgrade to or should there be other, more important upgrades that I should get (that will keep my baby lasting long) first?

Yo dude, dont hate your auto! I have an auto too and lovee it only because i dont need to mess around with it while sitting in traffic and **** like that.

But anywho, turbo that bad boy, and u should be able to shut down those stock eclipses easily, i dont think there much faster than 6.8 0-60 so its definatly do able, i think guru_del was at like 6.5 with his, prob a little faster now.

Just save up, get a new exhaust and turbo at the same time with the RRM header and you will be just blown away by how much faster it is.

Thanks for all the support for keeping my auto. I figured you guys would be laughing at me for buying an auto in the first place! I'm still going to look around tomorrow and see what kind of deals I can get for ****s n giggles. Who knows, if I'm lucky I could get an exchange with some money back that I could then use to purchasing that RRM turbo kit. BTW whats an RRM header? And should I get a new exhaust before or after the turbo kit??
