Has Mitsu's build quality improved?
Has Mitsu's build quality improved?
I dunno much about Mitsu's reliability.
All we know in Canada of Mitsu (prior to their launch 2 years ago up here) was the DSM's.
Mitsu has a bad rep from a lot of car people. I somewhat believe this, but some people I've talked to disagree.
As of recent, are Mitsu cars very reliable cars? I'm not looking at Toyota quality where you can trash it and it still works like new. Just like... well, what does Mitsu's compare best to in terms of reliability?
I'm still staring at possibly a Ralliart later on in the future. Plus I'm curious to know the FACTS about Mitsu.

you have been posting in the forums for a few weeks now and you have asked very similar questions ever since you arrived. You have gotten the saem answer from everyone, the Lancer is showing to be very fun, and reliable. The Lancer also had a higher reliability rating than the Corolla and Civic. If that isnt enough for you YET than I dont know what is going to be. if everyone here is telling you the same thign, that should hold some water.
about 10 or so years ago i had low funds and needed a car. 1 car i said i'd never get was a galant. boxy, mitsu rep, etc. Karma; i ended getting one as it was the best deal available. I grimaced every time I got in it or looked at it. 1 month later I was like DAMN THIS CAR IS FUN! It gave me no problems WHATSOEVER other than regular maint and of course it drank gas when my foot was down. Which was all the time. Now I've gotten the Lancer and same thing, no problems, fun to drive and i've finally gotten a clue as to tuning so much more fun to be had in the hopefully near future! Solid cars sometimes so-so looks. Like the RalliArt IMHO. But in general Mitsu vehicles are pretty solid and well thought of by the people who own them; meaning my friends who's cars I've lusted after!

Actually, mitsumichael7, your answer is really all I was looking for.
It's just good to hear that Mitsubishi's are good cars. I've just been under the programming/impression that Mitsu's fall apart (hearing this from other car club members) and are super unreliable. But I guess that's probably because of the whole crankwalk blah blah blah case.
Sideways, I thought the same way about the Ralliart. When I saw pics of it, I was pretty disgusted. Then when I saw the price and what you get, and when I actually sat in it, I liked it. I have yet to drive it, but that should come soon.
