Question Good Price for an 04?

I realize that mitsu is releasing fewer 04s than 03s and that price is going to be more. The one person on here paid 33 I believe. I want the upgraded stereo, the sun roof and the wing. I don't want the leather recaros but if they come with the package i guess i'll take them. Can someone tell me what a good price for an 04 evo (not rs or mr) would be with the sunroof and stereo? I saw the msrp was like 33 in another thread, but I was curious what would be a decent price to get them down to? Thanx

Look here, all dealers will have mark up's just offer 2,000 over MSRP. Then every time they try to bump you just deduct $500 off your offer. after about 3 times they will reailize your serious and you'll probrably get the car for MSRP

If you want the upgraded sound system it comes with the wing/sunroof and leather
seats. I think your pretty much paying 2500 for the roof/sound system/seats. It would be intresting to see what someone could get them down to when ordering one.

You can make and offer and if you have super credit or a bundle to put down. They will take you serious when they know you can drive it off the lot. I have my dealer around my little finger, the evo was my fourth purchase since summer of "00". All the cars were over 25k and I got them for from 1k to 2k off of msr. She gave me 1k off msr on my 03 last June. My offer was 500 off msr and 450 off for the wing and a car cover. They took off the thou., let me keep the wing, and gave me an excellent car cover.

I do have a lot to put down. My credit isn't great b/c i haven't built it up that much yet. But I can pay for more than half the car so i'm going to shoot for 500 - 1000 under msrp i guess.

offer them 28,800 and see what happens....like everyone says if they know your serious they might take it....they do want to sells cars in the long run....they dont make money with cars on the lot.....and whatever ya do DONT act like you really want the car....once they know that you will do anything to get it then your screwed....bring up the whole you might want an sti but stopped to see the evo first blabla....see what happens...might work...might not but its worth a try. Just my opinion.

I'm trying to get it right when they come off the lot. Somebody on here gave me his cell, so i'm assuming he must know the guy pretty well. Yea i'll try and act like it aint no big thing and there are other cars I would rather drive, but isn't the msrp on it like 33? You think I should go to 28.8 or should that just be my beginning price for haggling?

well i think yah that would be a great price to get an 04 for and shoot for around there in your head...i would really feel guy out and see what hes all about. I think it will be hard to get it lower than that personally. Its just hard to tell whats going to happen. Do you have a specific color in mind or do you want just whatever 04 they have there?

I want blue or black. I could be happy with a red. I don't like the yellow at all. I have a white car now and dont' want another one. The silver is too common to me. So any of those 3 colors i guess, but in order it would be blue, black, red.

I would go for an 03 one and try for getting it around $27-$27.5k

Save the money on the stereo and when all is said and done put your own in. Hell for the $2k you save you could buy a better stereo than they can put it.

There is a Red 03 here that is going for around $28k. They want to get rid of it since they have had it since the evo introduction. I am sure if you flash a good $10k in there face they will go below that to sell it.

I'm going to the dealership today and my friend said anything OTD (out the door) for under 30k is a good deal... so i guess that would mean getting the car for 26-27k... and then tax and license fee and all that adds up the rest.
