Question which injen intake

ok first i was thinking about getting a weapon-r intake but heard they were crap. so now i am goin to get an injen but they have a short one and a longer racing division one i have heard that longer ones are better for top speed but no good for accel and visa-versa for the short one is this true and which shoud i get???????/

i would go with the CAI<cold air intake> because the lancer doesnt have much acceleration once you hit 4th or 5th gears...its def worth the extra money i think. good luck man

so your saying get the shorter one right and is anyone here from DE newark or close by we need to start a lancer club. and should all mitsu dealers sell RMR part??? are they expensive???

either way, your horsepower increase is gonna be about the same.. I'd go CAI tho.. it gets really hot under the hood.. amost 150 degrees!!

if you have an auto, go for the short ram. the cold air won't fit without some major mods to it. if you got a manual, cai it is

The CAI (with the longer piping) will not fit auto trannies without fitment issues. Don't try to force it. The differences are so negligable that you would be better off just buying the short ram.
