Exclamation lancer a\t injen CAI?!

I was really excited when i saw that NOPIONLINE and INJEN offer the "INJEN Tube Style Intake System - Automatic Transmission - POLISHED - With Heat Shield $213.83" --- cold air intake for the auto. trans. lancer?? is this true?... WILL IT FIT?! I'm a click away from buying it if i get some responces here saying it should fit.. it looks like it would.. almost looks like short ram.. more like that then cai anyway.. please post back ASAP!
thanks,
- Rob

Take a look. The "Auto CAI" isn't really a CAI...it's like an extended short ram. Looks like a good option for AT's if you ask me, but I'd go RRM before that because of cost vs. effectiveness alone.

...It's specifically made for AT applications. I should hope so.

With the difference in costs vs the difference in gains I really stand by going with an RRM short ram without the heat shield. for Just under $100 beans it's the best buy out there with gains just about equal to any intake...plus you won't have to scrap it if you go the forced induction route. Your money, your car, your decision.

I have an automatic Lancer and have an Injen Cold Air Intake on my car. Had to custom bend it. It works great!!!! The filter is positioned perfectly. I was the first person that Injen sold a CAI to for the Lancer. Paid $350 something for it. GOt it months ago.....

Bending disturbs airflow. Straight pipe is less disturbed than bent pipe and nothing will rub with the other intakes. I would advise against bending the CAI piping.

Again, your car, your money, your choice.
