Question intake

anyone have injen tube stlye intake sys. on their AUTOMATIC LANCER ES? saw one at nopi.com. im just not sure if it would work on my car.. it looks nice.. "polished" just like cai.. thanks in advanced im a noob.

I have an automatic Ls and I'm also consdiering buying this. Here's a link to more info. about it. And why wouldn't it work on your car? It's for automatic and manual transmissions.

log on to the main page of this site. On the right hand side theres a column that says registry, click that and select your make of car. Then select mods. It wont tell which members have an auto or a manual but it'll show you pics of their cars with the injen intake on it.

any SRI (short ram intake) will fit on an automatic lancer. its the CAI (cold air intakes) which wont fit on the auto because of the size/location of the transmission.

True! Unless you go the route of some other people and use a battery relocation kit to move the batter to the trunk.

I could be wrong because I don't have an auto but when I put in my AEM CAI the battery had 0-very little to do with anything. Is it different in an auto?

yea it is very different in an auto...cus of the stupid transmission bein so big an all...sux 2 have an auto...well short ram will work good along with the evo 7 hood scoop
