So I got bord this weekend and went up to washington and bought my brand new 2004 Evolution with leather. The grins on my face have not stopped. Suprizingly the car finally did as I needed to come home before going out again for a little while. I can't even begin to believe what I've been looking at from afar for 3 years since the first announcement. Today I drive one that makes the 3 year wait worth it, wish I would have got one soon but it was all worth it.

I've been lurking on this site for about a year now. I registered one day just so that when I did buy one my name wouldn't be taken. I've owned a lancer for the past 3 years (a black and a yellow one) that I've never really been interest in posting on because it was just my work car and I wasn't in to moding it. Saved my money for today .

Anyway I'm in Oregon, I don't know how many people on this site are this far west. I hear alot about the east but I'm up for a meet when ever. I hope I don't ask any stupid questions but like I said I've been lurking for a long time so I have an idea of how this work.

Nice! Im going to cry if my 04 doesn't come in next week ive been waiting 2 years for this car and ordered it 4 months ago

 

"alright" why did you have to order and what's taking it so long?

 

i ordered it in the beginning of march because the only one they had on the lot was an 03 with 500 test drive miles on it and the 04's weren't out yet but they are expecting them to come in the beginning of June. I stopped by the dealer yesterday and they said that it came into port on tuesday and they are waiting for it to be delivered this coming monday or tuesday at the latest.

congrats on the new evo! how are you liking the leather and infinity audio system ?

 

I live in Salem but communte to clackamas ever day for work currently. And thanks I love the infinity audio...Not as good as a costume but still a pretty good bonus and something I don't have to shell money out for when I'm looking for more of the upgrading...and the leather, all I can say is whoooo it nice comfotable feels like love when it hugs out what more can I say. Recaro knew what they where doing and thinking when they made'm. Oh and it has a sun roof. I'll take some pictures this weekend and post them.
