tech components? you wont find much to upgrade the lancer into an EVO if any at all. you're gonna have to do some swaps with engine and tranny and drive train, etc, etc.. as for body kits though.. you're in luck. check out www.sharkracing.com they have an EVO VII kit for the USDM lancer

What exactly do you mean by "tech component"?

Anyhow, if you're interested in more info, click on the link in my signature

Thanks for the site for the Body Kit, but I was hoping it were going to j-spec kits. Does anyone know where I can get a J-spec evo conversion kit?

What engine should I try to obtain in order to make the Lancer -> Evo modification as accurate as possible?

ughh. There isn't such a thing. The body kit at shark racing is the most accurate one you will ever find. You have to do new head lights in order to get the EVO front bumper/hood combination to work, even so it will still not have the same wheel flares. Tuning the lancer means working within several limitations. It's not a civic, (which has more EVO style body kit options than a Lancer.)

Man, that stinks!!! Are there any custom parts dealers that may build such a thing if I paid for it?

The dealerships won't do that kind of things.
