Ok since this is my first post on this board, and this is the first question to the Q&A game I'll make it simple.

All you EVO owners out there I ask of you this, why should I buy and EVO? In other words give me the pros/cons of the car (or variations of the EVO), and then explain to me why I should choose an EVO over say another car. If it helps to know my dream car is an RX-7 (3rd gen); although many reasons slow my intentions of purchasing one as of right now; but I'm also attracted towards an EVO for reasons like AWD/full backseat.

my husband (mysticmyth) and i just bought an 04 last saturday. we've owned 2 lancer OZs. the 1st one was totaled last summer. and after seeing how it was and him after the wreck, i insisted he got another...besides, they're very comfy. we LOVE the evo. it has leather seats that hug you. the sound system is great, too. i am very happy with our choice to get it. he'll be able to tell you more and the differences between the 04 and the 05 that's coming out soon.

I have to say I'm a big fan of the RX7 and your asking alot of poeple to compare an apple to a steak. I love the RX7's but you're not going to get a new one or a stock one easily. If you fine one in great condition it's probable already been modded with 20 grand in mods or more so expect to pay. The RX7's modded are also cheaper than a stock EVO. The Drive and the feel and the Car's are completly different.
