warped brake rotors - thats the only prob i've ever had with my car, and i admit it was my fault. i drove it like crazy for the first few months i've had it. i already have 15k miles.

nice grammar in the subject title.

If you're not buying an Evo simply due to "seeing one on the side of the freeway", then that's pretty ignorant. I mean seriously dude.....that's pretty lame.

Secondly, if you're going to buy an STi or something else, why post on here? Just go.

Maybe the driver had a warrant out for his arrest, got pulled over and got arrested-the car left on the side of the road-for example. A lot of maybes come into play. I doubt anything was wrong with the EVO!

Obviously? They guy has been here for 8 months and supposedly owns an ES. Doesn't seem like troll material to me.

If the car was abandoned without plates, I'd bet it was the dealer joyriding the car and running out of gas. Dealers typically don't fill tanks up, so it'd be pretty easy to run out in the Evo. If there were people still in it, maybe just on a test drive and the salesman was going over some things.

for one, i do own a 2002 lancer es, i've looked into and test drove evo's at dealerships... and the price tag they stick on them is insane. Sure i've seen WRX's on the side of the road, but this car wasnt a dealer on a test drive, we were like 40+ miles from the nearest dealership.... if i was trolling i'd whine about how i so wanted an evo and how im SOO gettin a WRX now, but im just saying for all the hype this car has gotten i've seen little bang from it in the market..... maybe the 05's will change my mind but after driving an 04 and seeing the price and acutally seeing one broke down im not so sure mitsu is on the right track in making a sports car.. better leave it to the big dogs or something
