leaving it empty will provide you with more performance than filling it up.

removing it and installing a true cold air intake utilizing the drivers side lower opening in the front for Ram air effect will give even more gains.

My 2 cents

In what way?

For 91 oct and extended freeway hauling it works great. Pulls much more evenly past 5k well into redline on a stock evo. For autocross it might be another story, but hard to ignore benefits of cooling while running hard.

If you're in a warm climate, just use distilled water. When it starts to get cold, below freezing, flush out the water and use windshield washer antifreeze fluid.

Don't use alcohol because it's flammable.

FWIW: In a hot humid environment, the intercooler water spray does almost nothing. In a hot dry environment, the water spray can drop the temperature by almost 30 degrees. It all about the evaporation rate...
