I finally got rid of my boosted Honda Civic hatch and picked up my new 03 red EVO today. I have to say after driving it all night I am thoroughly impressed with everything. It is far above my expectations and I have driven everything. I can't think of a better car for the buck. I put 150 miles on it today working through the break in period. Hard to say how quick it will be, because I didn't push it tonight for obviuos reasons. But, it feels quite strong and feel mid 13's are possible. It will go to the track on Friday if I have enough time to drive it this week. Its great to be a Mitsubishi owner. What a nice change

 

Congrats on the new car. Take it easy on breakin and tracking it before 1k miles or so, the old addage applies, you take care of it and it will take car of you.
