Lancer Stereo?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to put in a stereo system in my RS. There's a stereo system from a 2002 Lancer. Would it fit into the RS? Thanks!

You mean you have this sitting around as a spare? Coz if so, I don't see why you couldn't make it fit. But if you're planning to go out and buy one, don't waste your money. Get aftermarket stereo components. They'll sound better, fit fine, and probably look a million times better. Talk to someone at say, Myer Emco or Best Buy if you don't know anyone in your area who knows car stereos. They can show you items in person and at least give you a rough idea on pricing.

well, the stock system is better than nothing and he could probably get all four speakers and the head unit for less than $200. he'll pay at least 2-3x that for aftermarket.

but... I totally agree with you. of course, I have a whole bunch of aftermarket carfi gear in my car just like you do so of course we're gonna say that.

for 150 bucks you can get an ok pioneer deck and if you look around you can get a set of decent ok speakers for 50 a set not the best setup by any means but for 300 bucks you can get something better than stock.
