What kind of mods will void your warranty?

Any ideas? Do you think a exaust or air filter will void the warranty as well? Im looking to buy one in Taiwan, but paying 53K US dollars is a bit high! And you guys *****ing about 30k!?!? They only have the US version and the good thing is that there are only 60 in this country.

All mods will void the warranty. Good luck with the warranty once the mods start.

The answer = Depend. Some dealership will void the warranty while other dealership might be ok.

Since you located at Taiwan, I will ask the dealership the question.

An Evolution does not come with any type of warranty. If the bumper rusts, that means you modded the metal and then drove it too hard and boosted the sheetmetal too high.

Anyone know why some Evo's have Evolution written across the entire trunk and some have Lancer Evolution towards the bottom right of the trunk? Whats the difference? Do they come with a strut bar in the trunk area, because the one I saw didnt have one

A stock USMD Evo has Lacer and Evolution badges on thehe bottom right hand side of the trunk. The ones with Evolution VIII are aftermarket badges that come stock on the Euro Evo's.

turbo timer and boost gauge wont void the warranty, K&N and other stuff will (depends who is working on your car ( in some shops they dont even care about catback and K&N) screw the Evil, work on your car alone....
