tightened throttle line.
Go under the dash and follow the gas pedal up to the throttle
cable have someone hold open the butterfly that your throttle
cable is attached to. while your under the dash pull the cable through and add some spacers. make sure that you leave a little
slack in the cable or your ride won't idle correctly. as you will see once you start it. hope this helps

Don't tighten it! You can break it because at full throttle the pedal will not hit the stop. Just because it is loose at idle position does not mean you do not have full throttle.

Don't bother. On top of Rob's warning your ECU will adjust itself in a matter of days regardless. I was going to post a step by step, bolt by bolt how to, but it turned out to just be a waste of time unless you want to remove what little pedal play you have.

besides robs warning on damage to your butter fly and or throttle cable
what do you plan to accomplish doing this?
on another note if you are going to foolishly tighten this why wuld you use spacers to lengthen the cable
when you can take the two 10mm bolts on the top of the intake manifold loosen them and then slide the cable back to ruin your 400 dollar throttle body?

I'm sorry I don't think I made myself clear enough I'm not talking about the throttlebody or tightening anything on it!
If you go under the dash where the throttle cable is attached
to your gas pedal you'll note a rubber spacer or some peace
of plastic holding the throttle cable to the gas pedal. thats when you have a friend hold open the throttle and the guy under the dash pull's some of the cable through and puts a little spacer
zip strip, peace of rubber hose etc. on the cable.the guy outside lets go and you've taken the slack out of your throttle cable.

yea but you only need to do it frmo under the hood it is abasicly one person job conserning two bolts not to jerry rig some zip ties on your throttle cable
and py taking out the slack that in the trottle cable if you over do it your gonna be putting exess pressure on the black thing the throttle cable wraps around on the throttle body thus possibly breaking it

Yes I know this! But most new & old cars not all, have loose throttle cables. Which kills top end. by taking out the slack in the line your getting better proformance. Plus it is also better for heel & toe driving cuase your rasing the hight of the gas pedal level with the brake. i'v been runnin my car like this for awhile and no problems have occured.
how about save your money and buy some parts instead to give you performance and save your cable and tb to last the life of the car? It may not cost nothing... but its stupid... mitsu left the slack for a reason

well see it your way... i'd rather buy some parts than be a cheap poor (something) who tries to find ways to do stupid mods that will mess up you car anyway (like Nos) and will eventually be costing you in the future... that money you would use to fix the thing could have been used for other performace parts... planning ahead is the key
