tightened throttle line.
nos is now considered a stupid mod? hum...man i must be outta the times...75 hp for a grand...and tightening you throttle line works...dont listen to the hype...my friend has a civic and has tightened his 3 seperate times...no ecu probs...as long as you dont change your idle rpms by more than 50-100...no probs...dont speak unless you have a clue what you are talking about...just because you own a car doesnt mean you have any idea what is possible with it...sorry to flame...sick of people talking outta there ***...
zero, if you notice, the only two people advocating the line tightening are your friend (a Civic owner) and evolution IV (a Civic owner). Just because one car can do one thing, doesn't necessarily make it true for another.
wait i dont think i am done yet...all this from a guy who has...whipper lights...wiper lights maybe...man those must increase hp by like what 15 hp @ the wheel...dont diss people junior...if it works...and creates better throttle response then more power to the man who spent nothing for an upgrade to his car...sorry for the flames everybody...had to get it outta my system...
Zero, tighten your throttle line in your Lancer. Keep in mind the person who originally asked drives a Lancer, not a Civic. After a bit of driving I can garauntee the revs will head right back to where they used to be. After a while it even began to drop dangerously low (especially in humid/wet weather where my car, and I'm assuming others as well, drop to near or below 500 rpms). If you're just cutting out a bit of play in the pedal it won't cause problems, but if you tighten it more than that then you'll see what I mean.
yeah didn't u hear... whipper lights do give 15hp... get real man... sounds like your the one talking out of your rear end when u try to talk down on someone you don't even know... i'm soooooooooo sorry we aren't all as brilliant as you sir... remember that everyone has different knowledge on different things... thats what this forum is for... to learn off eachother... now i ask please let us who don't have the privelage of having your brain cells to have a high IQ in auto mechanics (specificaly a Mitstubishi Lancer). I admit i don't know much of this car but i'm learning. Talk to me about VWs now... i'll tell you all kinds of stuff. You see what i'm saying i don't mean to come off rude or anything... all i'm asking is just give us rookies and novices a chance... do i need to go on?

That's just too damn broad a statement to be of any credibility.
A 100 shot of nos isn't good, a 50 shot isn't bad
one 75 shot isn't bad
10 75 shots aren't good
50 50 shots aren't bad...
so on so forth, I'm willing to bet you've never had a car with nitrous on it, so I believe the talk out of your *** title will go back to the gentleman from Long Beach
