Dangit, I know people said to wait for the MR etc... and there are plenty of good deals on used ones but today I saw a new White EVO 8 on my way home and that was the end of that. Had 3miles on the odo and I bought it for 31, 800 out the door as a result. I just wanted a white one with the wing and no sun roof and there it was.

I'll have pix tomorrow but this is gonna be my daily driver so I won't go going crazy with the mods. I'll leave that stuff for the "other" car

I just wanted to say that out of the box, this thing is bad ***. It is so well balanced/poised and handles/stops so darn well. Amazing. It does have some understeer but that can be sorted out.

31,800 is pretty steep...but you did the right thing by not waiting for the MR. Good color chioce .

 

Every state is different. You have to think about the taxes on top of what the car costs. He could have paid 27000 for the car itself but had to pay taxes on top.

I paid $28,000 out the door for my RS. I think it was a good deal considering I got the first batch from the factory.

Aye, congrats. I'm debating between waiting for that truly sexy grey on the MR, or buying a white one right now. So far, the white one is winning. Now, just have to get rid of the car I have now... cant afford two at the moment

Thanks man! Can't wait to start lol... However this car is going to be my daily D. The other rides will get most of the mods. I figure at least a Works flash, down pipe and exhaust... Other than that, I'll prolly do some coilovers but out of the box the car is great.

 

Just do the white one... You won't regret having a great car now. The MR sounds great on paper and probably will be great when it comes out. However it'll have a silly mark up and cost a lot more and be a bit heavier too:P
