everything else was 18...so i didnt mind.
Whats the mileage on it when you got it ?
Ya, I know I shopped around and did loads of research, Honda Civics and Toyota Echo Hatchbacks were way over inflated either for new or used for what they are,
Hyundai Accent, Suzuki Swift+ and KIA Rio was the only cars that I could have gotten for under $20,000 new taxes included, most were around $19,500cdn with taxes. The Accent and Rio really impressed me in their quality and workmanship, but their resale value will suffer. Mitsubushi is new in Canada and most people don't trust them, dealers have been begging Mitsubishi Canada to help them for more exposure. What they did was they loaned 1000 cars onto the road to select Mitsubishi employees to promote public awareness and now they are returning their '03 Lancer ES and selling them dirt cheap.
Anyhow, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer is near the same class category as a Toyota Corolla LE or Honda Civic EX which costs at least $3000-$4000 more for the same equipment and options. The Lancer has more class and clout as compared to an Accent or Rio and its made in Japan to boot !
