Hope...That's what you need...
How do you plan on keeping the con rods from stretching, or better yet keeping the pistons in the engine, and not in sub lunar orbit?

Built engine is pretty much the only to safely rev up past 8500rpm. Blueprint and balanced is the only safe method. Also you would need to have some sort of ems or flash to make your revlimit and fuel cut higher than it is now.

what quick**** said, then you need a EMS or a REflash to change your rev-limiter

You'd be adding a substantial amount of stress to the internals. Stronger con rods, crank, and main bearings would all be good investments to helping the engine survive routine spins to that speed.

I don't know where you live, but why would you need to do over 160 mph? Spinning it that high in lower gears only adds undue stress and there is more gears to go faster with. If it's about quick, torque makes you quicker than high rpm hp. If it's about building a dyno queen, bring more money!

the man just ask how, tell him how he can (which is not possible with alot of money drop in that engine.) Dont tell im not to do it, let him **** up his own evo. Honestly, just trade in you evo for an s2000 or RX8.

Either that or paint over the red on your tack and find a very steep hill!

Hope your pocket book is way bigger than mine cause in order to get 9000 redline your looking at totally rebuilding your entire engine and drivetrain. Once you start putting that type of pressure on one part of the engine it will effect everything else do you really want to spend as much money on the engine as you just paid for the car? (posibly more)
