What is a Recovery Stop.. Breakin in pads

Im reading the break in procedure and it says to do 2-3 recovery stops in between my high speed. What are these?

There are so many break-in/bed-in procedures for brakes, all with varying verbiage, that it's hard to tell. Best bet is to contact the manufacturer. My guess is that a recovery stop would be a mild stop from a moderate speed (40mph?).

My normal procedure for track-type pads is to stop fairly hard and even from 50mph to a dead stop (don't do this in traffic) 3 times with about 2 minutes of cool-down driving between, then park it (with the e-brake off if your e-brake uses the calipers). Let it sit/cure for at least 6 hours. Everyone has their own nuance variations on this basic procedure.

Please post threads about brakes in the Wheels/Tires/Suspension/Brakes forum. The Evo General forum is not the appropriate place to have your tech questions answered.

Very true. Each one of our brake manufactures recommends something different for the bed-in procedure. Best to contact the manufacture.
