brembos...
brembos...
hey there mates!
i would just like to ask, if i were to upgrade my brakes into brembos what are the parts i need? i've been surfing the net trying to find used calipers, disks and pads but are those all i need? brake lines? and what else?
Also, maybe someone here has a contact for used evo parts such as these brakes somewhere in asia for easy shipping. Better if it were in hong kong or something since i get to go there a few times a year, though i don't know where to find these surplus shops of these things.
thanks for the help!

I think that you will find our knowledgebase for Evo's previous to the VIII will be very thin. Here in the US the Evo VIII was our first Evo. We never got the V.
You may want to try the Lancer Register site. They are UK based and have better knowledge of the earlier Evos.

I went through this on my evo4 when I put brembos on it.
What you will need:
Calipers
Brake discs
Brake pads
Brake lines
Caliper mounting bolts
Also have you ever thought about getting some AP Racing brakes instead of the evo brembo's as the APs are alot better and will have a less of a chance of giving you juddery brakes.
And check out the lancer register as theres tons of brake info there.
