well i have this problem. this sunday i'm goin to buy an evo but i want it red. i wanted to get the (sun,leather,sound) package but can't find any with the leather exept in silver and blue. i have found red evo's with the sun and sound only package. so what i want to find out is if it's worth getting the leather interior or the normal one. i also haven't seen how it looks with the leather so i don't know if that takes the look that the evo has away.

 

The leather looks actually pretty good. It is still by Recaro... I am not a big leather fan but I have to say it look pretty good... but i am not sure if it is worth spending an extra $2500... I think Red exterior with Black interior will match good!

 

I may not be representative but I hate the leather and was happy that I got rid of the leather seats in my old car... Evo standard seats are great and whatever you decide I'm sure you won't regret it.

 

don't get red, it's cop magnet. Got pulled over yesterday. twice in a month.

 

you'd probably have an easier time reselling the silver one w/leather. just something to think about...

 

I would not get leather for a car like the Evo. The material is too slipery and will have you complaining when you start taking the car to the track. If you want a leather interior I would choose another car like the Lexus. Remember that this is a performance vehicle, not a luxury car that absorbs all the bumps and has that wood trim interior.

 

Ferraris and Porsches etc have leather and I consider them performance cars too

 

do u guys know if the leather is all black or if it has that blue and black look to it?

 

Saw leather in a black evo the other day. Was very impressed. The fit and finsih was excellent. Didn't ride in the car so I can't comment on that. The leather is all one color, a dark grey.

 

I have leather...it is awesome...wouldn't have it any other way. Do a search for "leather seats" and you will find a pic. They are all black and the "Recaro" is stitched in grey. I don't have any pics of my car up yet but I know that someone posted a pic awhile back.

They have a red Evo with leather at the dealer down here. Really nice seats.

 

I agree I love the leather and it feels great and looks even better. As said before I wouldnt have it any other way.

the sun and sound package includes leather. If you are getting the 315 watt stereo and the sunroof, you are also getting leather whether who like it or not. (I guess one could refuse leather for the cloth seats)
