i wouldnt get leather if you live in hot places such as vegas, socal, etc. i bet ya you could hardly breathe once you get inside.

I live in Arkansas...hot and humid. Believe me you aren't any better off in cloth. Cloth especially suaded retains alot of heat.

 

you'd be surprised how well the leather holds you in... when you sit down, you slide into the seat and you're planted... plus they put all black inserts in the door panels and a leather console armrest... you won't slide around... besides, think about it, you don't see "clothe" wrapped steeringwheels do ya

...and the stereo that comes with it is more than adequate... i have a ton of stereo stuff laying around from the old car, and it's not going in the Evo... everything sounds really really good for a stocker... seems they matched the amp to the speakers now a days, they got smart... i.e. putting 30w to a 30w speaker... not 30w to a 15w speaker nor 15w to a 30w speaker... also, the sub is removeable nicely for track days...

either way, you're gonna be happy with it... clothe or leather, doesn't change the performance experience one bit... either way, it's still an Evo... good luck and enjoy!

 

in the leather package for the new evo's are the back seats the same color as the front seats?

 

thanks for the info guys and the pics too. i've been calling to several dealers and only found one red with the entire package. it's in freeway mitsubishi in duarte. so i'm gonna try and make puente do a dealer trade or just go over there.

 

yup... basically... perf inserts and all...

 

well about what i said about daurte having the full package. they ****ed up i guess cuz now they are saying that they only have it without the leather but the rest. and also puente said that they sold the silver one so that went down the drain. i guess it's no leather with red paint.

 

I'll let you know how I like the leather and stuff when my car comes next week (I hope it comes next week that is!)

 

well hopefully it does. but for me well i have tomorrow to find a dealership that has a red evo with leather or maybe if i find these (and it's my last resort) silver or yellow. but i don't think that yellow with the leather would look good? but i also haven't seen how it looks with leather period.

 

get the color that you want.. u might regret just settlin with any color besides the one u want

 

well i guess i'm gonna get the evo that i want. in aneheim i found th red with leather today. so tomorrow i'm gona go pick it up. so hoping that goes all good.
