I know that The STI has a couple more horses than the EVO and as i recall...its lighter? Even with that in mind I've managed to seen an article stating stock quartermile times of high end 4 bangers and the EVO time was quicker than the STI. Can an Evo really pull a lower time slip than an STI stock?(Yes I know the driver matters too!)

 

yes, if you have a factory freak with a very good launch. STi will almost always be faster.

 

They are both equal in weight give or take a few pounds. The STI will always edge out the evo.
