Bump Stops (CUTTING?)

Do you have to cut the bumps stops when you install lowering springs... I got the Eibachs on order and was hoping that some one could let me know... Thanks

You don't have to cut them. I got Tanabes and cut the rear but forgot to cut the front. I have only had a problem with hitting them in the front once...that was in an autox while cornering hard and hitting a dip in the blacktop. I have autox'ed a bunch since then and driven on the street without any problems. Tanabes have more of a front drop than the Eibachs do also.
It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and cut them a little though while you have them off. It is easy to do and gives you peace of mind.
