rattles in evo, ,Any Help???

I know this has been covered, I have read tons of the seaches etc....

Mine has 4000 miles, When the car is left for a while it has this rattle while hit small bumps in the road,It gets less the more you drive it , untill it sits again.
Sounds like a small plastic piece or clip etc...
It appears to be in the front area above the headliner or A pillar pieces.
I have many people riding in the car trying to locate the noise, It is driving me insane,,,I try to forget about it by turning the radio up.

Any Help ?

well do you really want the dealer to mess around with your evo? most likely they'll screw something else up riping things out to get to your lil rattling piece...

besides you got an evo, with such a stiff chassis and springs, this is wat u gotta live with.

That's why I am posting, I don't want to go to the dealer Period!

I can deal with a little rattling , But this sounds like something loose. I didn't want to pull the whole thing apart if someone knew off hand what it might be.

Honestly they will get worse and more of them. This car is still based on an economy car as you know, and the well spent money put into our beloved Evo defiantely was not in sound dampening.

Try and enjoy the car for what it is, not what it isn't. If you can find the sqeeking area, I have used spray dampening in the past or expanding foam. Both are very light(especially the foam) and will get into hard to reach places and secure loose parts that rattle!

Otherwise keep the tunes running! IMO

not true Jae. I had rattles in my car. Went to the dealer and gave them a little test drive in the parking lot. They fixed it by openeing the door panels and tightening some loose screws.
