question about the veilside body kit...

I know the kit is for the Evo VIII, but does anyone know if it would fit the 04 Ralliart? I think the front would have to be modded a little bit for the headlights, but other than that, does anyone know for sure? it looks like the front grills besides the mits symbol are the same size, which leads me to believe that the bigger portion between the evo lights to the ralliart lights is on the sides. I'm not sure. is the evo just bigger than the ralliart or what? just curious if anyone else knows?

Definitely wouldn't fit. The bodywork of the Ralliart is very, very different from the Evo in countless ways. The fenders are shaped very different on all axes, obviously the headlights are completely, completely different, the hood is a different shape, the bumper sticks out farther and has a reinforcing bar behind it, etc. I honestly wouldn't expect anything from the Evo to fit the RA, body-wise. Folks are just lucky that the Evo wing is fairly generic, so it can fit alright (though it seems to lean back a bit on the RA). In general, though, I don't think you'd want to try going down the route of starting with an Evo body kit and modifying (redesigning & remolding) it to fit.

once the Evo IX comes out, the body looks to be very very simillar so i'd imagin veilside will be coming out with something for it. I'm thinking that one should fit, but that'll prolly be at least 2 years though.

The car is fully build under the 2004-2005 Lancer body style. Expect the interior to be quite the same yet again.

I want those flared fenders...
