looking for evo trouble code list

I've been told by multiple sources that the trouble code my ecu in my evo does or does not exist, so i was wondering if someone could provide a list of the diagnostic codes for the 03 evolution or if they could post a link to the thread or web page that would have that? Thnx.

What code are you getting? You may be able to just plug the code into a search and see what it brings up!

First off a google search (p0305 code) yields many results. Interestingly enough the results say it is a misfire in cylinder number 5. Not quite sure what to make of that. I also forgot to mention that there is a standard for the OBD-II codes. I don't believe there are any special codes for the Evo as far as OBD-II is concerned.

Check the link for a list of codes:

if i'm not mistaken the evo should only have codes p301-304 since it is for cylinder misfire. if it is a p305 that means cylinder 5 misfire...damn you got a 5 cylinder evo? code must be wrong. have the code repulled.

vincent

edit looks like i was beat.

by the way, has anyone ever heard of an "overboost" code? if so, what is that, and what causes it if you are running stock boost?
