Which is the better exhaust?

Can someone please tell me which exhaust is the best one for the Evo VIII? I have heard conflicting reports, I had a buddy tell me that the Buschur exhaust is top of the line, and then I was also told that the Buschur was crap.

Which exhaust would you reccomend?

For the most part, they are all good products. I think you should find one that best fits your want. Loud or quiet. Expensive or inexpensive.

There is a thread about this somewhere already but the bottom line is, all Evo are not the same. Each Evo acts different to different exhaust. Some might say HKS gave their Evo power they can really feel but some say that HKS didn't do much for their Evo. I would try to go to different meets if you can and ask Evo owner how they feel about the exhaust they have.

I would reccomend a turbo back with proper flanges at each connection (downpipe to midpipe, midpipe to axle back). Additionally, look for minimal bends throughout the system. I'd reccomend Buschur 100% if it were not for the slip fit connections.

My TXS RFL-Ti should be in any day, I will let you know. I installed the Helix DP and Cat delete tonight. I can say that the ***-dyno notices stronger pull. Nothing too WoW, but I notice an increase...and I am running pig *** rich!

Check out Helix too...you can't beat Gruppe-S's prices...Calvin is the bomb...I would have gone with Helix but the catbacks are on backorder. Man, for fit and finish, I can't imagine anybody topping helix/gruppe-s. There products are just beautiful.

Good luck!

Mind as well close this thread too. Not trying to be an ahole but there are numerous threads regarding exhaust. Also, no one will be able to tell you which one is the best one. They will just tell you which one they have and if they are happy with it. For that, you can use the search button. Not trying to be mean (really), just wanted to tell you as eventually someone else will.

Everybody is going to recommend a different exhaust. Your best bet is to search these forums and find pictures and sound clips of the various exhausts and figure out which one you like the best. For the most part they give similar results as far as performance is concerned.

I have the AMS......sounds great but not quite as big as I would like. Probably will be going with the HKS Hiper soon.

There was a video and sound clip of the 5Zigen and HKS catbacks at Vividracing.com. Not sure if it's still there though.

I got the HKS Hiper and love it. It's not as loud as the other catbacks which is good. Whether it's better than the others....? It's all preferences.

I will say this though. After piecing together my exhaust...........I should a just went with the Vishnu Stage 1 setup. It would costed me the same thing.
