i just installed this today.
the C clamp is the worst thing in the entire world. i HIGHLY recommend you attack it to the pipe before you put the pipe in the engine, and you may want to have a second hand helping
im VTA and the idle only dips a little every now and again
my little idle dip turned into the car stalling when coming to a stop and not truning back over for a good 10-15 minutes.
needless to say i went back to stock real fast so that i could rely on my car to get me to and from work today.

i had the upper pipe and bov.
obviously the stalling came from VTA.
im ordering the recirc kit on tuesday (even though im pretty positive the pipe wont reach since the BOV is placed pretty far back from the intake pipe, closer to the driver, like near the back of the valve cover/back of the battery)
ill take pics of the pipe resting in the engine bay (since im not going to reinstall it) and post them monday.
i was also considering getting the hks rs intake kit since it would be easier to clamp the recirc pipe to a piece of metal instead of trying to clamp rubber to rubber or restricing the air flow by putting a hard pipe in between the two.
however i must say reading on various boards it seems that no ones too happy with any aftermarket part. maybe its just matter of opinions flying but its gotten me rather disenchanted about moding my evo (which is really the whole reason i purchased one)
