You should check in to the GFB/Works BOV.. full hybrid, 385.. now stalling problems what so ever, you can select exactly how much you want to vent. Im venting 50% and with the horn its the loudest whoosh i have heard out of any of the VTAs ( just got back from the norcalevo meet). Most of the norcal guys are running these ( no problems with stock airbox at all).

yeah but your running 50/50.. and the GFB is much nicer looking then the other BOVs, uses the stock recirculator, makes the car sound way cooler, and hold boost better. These are also already set up with the perfect spring rate ( no changin springs, or crushing to work properly) its set exactly the way it should be for the evo, installs in 5 minutes.

bdking do you have a pic or a link to a pic? I am seriously thinking about the HKS with the IC pipe but I would like to have an alternative.

LMAO, This is what happens to people that VTA. I remeber a friend with a highly modified GSX that did the same thing, and his car shut off and caused his car to be totalled in the event.

jon, yeah, it comes with a cap that fits into the recirc pipe. or you can buy the recirc kit
(http://www.hksusa.com/images/?id=1274). i suggest getting at least the flange cause its relatively inexpensive. the flange is like $12 at a number of places and then getting a pipe to run back to your intake. i dont think anyone makes one long enough (the recirc kit is for 95-99 mitsu's and doesnt seem like it would go the distance) but i was thinking a upper radiator pipe would probably do the trick.

ill get pics for you asap.

jon, heres a pic of the kit. if you want any other photos let me know. i just tried to show everything was there. i took the elbows and other two clamps off after i took the pic and put everything but the pipe and the bov back in the box (all the littler parts are in a plastic bag)

i also pm'ed you some info.
