Decent DC area dealer? (need test drive)
I wanted to say hi, introduce myself and ask a question or two...
I'm looking to replace our 98 A4 so I can either get the wife something similar, or I can pas her on the 330 and get myself a brand new Evo
. I was always intrigued by the Mitsu, even more so since I got easily passed by one at the track.
So I would appreciate any suggestions of a decent DC area dealer, where I can get a test drive and not many questions - and maybe I can test the new MR as well whenever it comes out...
I've previously tried a dealer in the Tyson area with disastrous results - no test drive of the (then) new Evo, big markups and a bad attitude, which sent me directly to the BMW showroom (test drive, discounts and smiles).
Thank you for your help and I hope to soon become a full status "member" with an 05 model
.

dont know that area well. I know that my dealer here in the Triangle area in NC would let you take one out if they had one on the lot. the sales team likes to ride in them just as much as you want to drive it. Good luck on finding a good dealer if not ill let you know when there are some in the area if you want to make the drive if you get shafted service wise in your area..... OH and welcome to the Board!
Consider PMing local members (do a search or go into the Mid-Atlantic regional forum and ask if you can get a ride'n'drive from an EvoM member. More time, and less salesman spiel to deal with.
I think that all dealers are the same: it depends on the salesperson you get.
If you're lucky, you'll get a good guy who won't give you crap, but ultimately it depends on your ability to deal with salespeople.
