today i noticed that my check engine light is on..no problems with the car and I'm wondering if it automatically goes on after 7500 miles when you have a scheduled maintenance until you get it serviced? i put on an adapter and cone filter today and i noticed after that..but i dont think i could have messed anything up there..it's just take out the airbox replace with filter plug back in..anyways any feedback would be great thanx

 

You should check all your intake clamps and fittings, etc. Also maybe reseting the ecu by unplugging your negative terminal on the battery would clear the code.
