What is this?

Right below the hood between the headlights is a black strip over the grill. Can anyone tell me whats that called? I love the way it looks.

No clue... but that looks sick. My guess is it forces air down into the intercooler.

Probably some sort of air diffuser or air diverter for cooling.

I think it's there to prevent pressure from building up under the hood due to the gap that would otherwise be there. Nobody wants a hood covering their windshield.
